Monica is a recent graduate of Southern Methodist University with a BBA in Finance, a BA in anthropology, and a minor in Creative Computing and International Studies. Her interests include sustainable business practices and community engagement. In her free time, she regularly volunteers with Promise of Peace Community Gardens, a nonprofit organization that creates neighborhood and school food gardens in the vacant spaces of Oak Cliff and Dallas. Monica also is an 2019-2020 SMU Hamilton Undergraduate Research Scholar with a research project that uses data science to explore the interaction of humans and their environment through clothing and the fast fashion industry. She has previous work experience at Deloitte LLP, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, and Expando Global. After graduation, she plans to join J.P. Morgan in their private bank.
